Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Those who meet the diagnostic criteria for constipation according to traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine; (2) Age between 18 and 80 years old, gender not limited; (3) Patients who have undergone lumbar pedicle screw fixation surgery in our hospital's spine department; (4) Understand and agree to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form; (5) Have not taken any laxatives within the past two weeks; (6) Have not received traditional Chinese medicine external treatment for constipation within the past two weeks. (7) Those who can cooperate in collecting clinical data, with normal vital signs and consciousness, and good cognitive ability.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, liver, or kidney disease; (2) Patients with active tuberculosis, bleeding tendency, malignant tumors, etc.; (3) Those with gastrointestinal diseases or who have undergone gastrointestinal surgery; (4) Patients with skin damage or allergic constitution that cannot tolerate traditional Chinese medicine hot compress; (5) Pregnant women or those in lactation period; (6) Patients with a history of diabetes or who have experienced constipation before surgery.
