Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Those who were diagnosed and determined to undergo laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy; those who had not undergone abdominal surgery within six months prior to the operation; those who were >18 years of age, both male and female; and those whose patients and family members were aware of the details of the study, who voluntarily signed an informed consent form and cooperated in the completion of the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who received epidural anaesthesia; patients who had been ventilated without postoperative treatment; patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction caused by other reasons; patients with serious primary diseases such as liver, kidney, haematopoietic system and endocrine system, or audio-visual anomalies, serious cognitive or psychiatric disorders, which affected the examination and treatment; those who had been treated with acupuncture in the last month prior to enrolment; those who had a pacemaker or other electrical stimulation devices; those who had participated in other clinical study; having surgical incisions or scars near the acupoints of Foot Sanli, Upper Giant Hollow, Yanglingquan, and Neiguan; and having local skin infections at the study acupoints.
