Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age>18 years old; (2) Invasive mechanical ventilation>24-48h and the expected duration of mechanical ventilation>3d; (3) Meet the diagnostic criteria for diaphragmatic dysfunction caused by mechanical ventilation under ultrasound; (4) The in skin the area of electrical stimulation is intact; (5) The patient or his/her family members are informed and sign the consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Presence of electrostimulation contraindications such as metal implants in the body active tuberculosis pneumothorax or severe arrhythmias. (2) Diaphragmatic paralysis or anatomical diaphragmatic abnormalities. (3) Pregnancy. (4) A history of central nervous system or spinal injuries. (5) Patients in the terminal stage of disease or receiving palliative care. (6) Inability to perform acupuncture at the required acupoints.
