Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with cervical disc herniation: 1 Confirmed via imaging examination as having mild (MSU grading zone 1B) or moderate (MSU grading zone 2B) right-sided cervical disc herniation (Figure 1); 2 Aged 20–50 years; 3 No history of tumors, trauma, or surgery; 4 BMI <24 kg/m²; 5 Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score <53 and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) score <53; 6 No massage therapy, physical therapy, or similar treatments in the past month; 7 Agree to participate in the study and sign an informed consent form. (2) Patients with neck discomfort but no cervical disc herniation: 1) Confirmed via imaging examination to have no cervical disc herniation; 2) Aged 20–50 years; 3) No history of tumors, trauma, or surgery; 4) BMI <24 kg/m²; 5) Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score <53 and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) score <53; 6) No massage therapy, physical therapy, or similar treatments in the past month; 7) Agree to participate in the study and sign an informed consent form.
