Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnostic criteria 1) Western medicine diagnostic criteria: according to the diagnostic criteria of the American CDC1994 and the diagnostic supplementary instructions of CDC2014, the criteria are as follows: 1. "The patient has clinically assessed, unexplained, persistent, or recurrent chronic fatigue that is new or has a definite onset (e.g., not lifelong), that is not the result of sustained exertion, that is not adequately relieved by rest, and that has resulted in a marked decrease in the level of work, education, social, or personal activities from the previous period." 2. Four or more of the following symptoms have been present or recurrent for 6 months or more, but should not precede fatigue. Discomfort (a generalised feeling of discomfort or restlessness, a non-specific sensation, often the precursor of an infection or other illness) for more than 24 hours after exertion; 2) restless sleep; 3) severe short-term memory or attention disorder; (4) a new type, pattern, or severity of headache; 5) muscle pain; 6) polyarthralgia without joint redness and swelling; 7) Sore throat; 8) Tenderness in the neck or axillary lymph nodes. 2) TCM diagnostic criteria: referring to the relevant contents of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other relevant literature research. 2. Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with chronic fatigue syndrome meet the above diagnostic criteria and must have persistent sleep symptoms. 2) After clinical evaluation, patients with chronic fatigue caused by other diseases were excluded. 3) aged between 18 and 50 years old. 4) no use of sedative, hypnotic, melatonin, and antidepressant drugs for at least 45 days before treatment. 5) signed the informed consent form and volunteered to participate in the study. Note: Patients who met all five criteria were eligible for this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria 1) patients who are unconscious, unable to express subjective discomfort symptoms, and mentally ill patients; 2) advanced malignant tumor or other serious wasting disease, easily complicated with infection and bleeding; 3) combined with serious primary diseases of vascular, hepatic, renal, digestive, hematopoietic systems; 4) CFS patients with severe depression and anxiety symptoms (BDI =16); Healthy subjects with mild depression and anxiety symptoms (Beck Depression Inventory =5 points) 5) patients with a history of cerebrovascular disease, brain parenchymal lesions and head trauma; 6) with metal implants, contraindications to MRS Testing or claustrophobia; 7) pregnant women, lactating women, and those who plan to become pregnant in the past three months; Note: Patients who meet any of the above criteria should be excluded.
