18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Nulliparous singleton pregnancy with cephalic presentation; (2) Term pregnancy with spontaneous onset of labor and cervical dilation of 2 cm; (3) No contraindications for acupoint catgut embedding, combined spinal-epidural anesthesia, and vaginal delivery; (4) Voluntarily participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Any maternal and fetal complications, such as metabolic disease, immunologic diseases, hypertensive disorders, premature rupture of membranes, fetal growth restriction and amniotic fluid disorders; (2) Contraindications for ACE (including bleeding tendency, skin infection, ulceration, and allergic constitution), CSEA, or vaginal delivery.
