Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: diagnostic criteria Diagnostic criteria of Western medicine: the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine for knee osteoarthritis were formulated with reference to the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis (2018 version) issued in 2018: 1) the patient's knee pain occurred repeatedly in the past month; 2) The X-ray of the knee joint showed that the joint space was reduced, subchondral bone sclerosis and cystic changes or osteophytes were formed around the joint; 3) Morning stiffness = 30 min; 4) The patient had bone fricative sounds. Meeting any one of 1) and 2)~4) can be diagnosed as knee osteoarthritis. Kellgren Lawrence (K-L) grading standard: grade 0: normal joint space performance without osteophyte; Grade I: the joint space is narrowed and osteophytes may exist; Grade II joint space is suspected to be narrowed and osteophyte is obvious; Grade III: the joint space is obviously narrowed, with sclerotic changes and moderate osteophytes; Grade IV: the joint space is obviously narrowed, with severe sclerosing lesions and obvious deformities, and a large number of osteophytes. Diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese medicine: refer to the diagnostic criteria of cold dampness blockage syndrome of knee osteoarthritis in the clinical diagnosis and treatment guide of needle knife for knee osteoarthritis. 1) Main symptoms: severe joint pain, aggravated by cold stimulation, mild pain, and unfavorable joint flexion and extension. 2) Secondary symptom: severe pain in the waist and body. 3) Tongue and pulse: the tongue is light, the moss is white and greasy, and the pulse is slow. Inclusion criteria: (1) meet the above diagnostic criteria; (2) The age ranged from 50 to 75 years; (3) Unilateral knee disease; (4) The K-L classification was 0~III; (5) Have not taken any drugs that affect the results of this study in the past 2 weeks; (6) All patients and their families were informed of the study and signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with severe knee infection; (2) Patients with knee osteoarthritis caused by knee trauma, tuberculosis, tumor or rheumatic immune diseases; (3) Patients with severe cardiovascular disease or liver and kidney damage; (4) Patients with blood, respiratory system diseases, endocrine diseases, blood tumor diseases, rheumatic immune diseases or severe mental diseases; (5) Patients with certain cognitive impairment or speech communication impairment.
