60 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants who meet the diagnostic criteria for insomnia in both traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine, and fit disharmony between the heart and kidney pattern; Participants aged between 60 and 80 years; Participants who abstain from auricular points therapies for at least 1 month before treatment; Participants who provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who diagnosed with secondary insomnia; Participants who have severe primary diseases or mental disorders (including those with anxiety scoring >21 on the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and depression scoring =21 on the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD)); Alcoholism and drug dependence or addiction; Participants who have any severe organic diseases such as hepatic, renal, or hematopoietic system disorders, or tumors; Night workers; Participants unable to cooperate with the treatment.
