Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients newly diagnosed with stage II or III colorectal cancer (American Joint Committee on Cancer 8th edition staging); planning to receive oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy regimens (e.g., treatment course =6 cycles, oxaliplatin dose =85mg/m²); with an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status score of 0-1; who have signed informed consent forms, voluntarily participate in the study, and cooperate with bioelectric signal collection.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Previous treatment with chemotherapy drugs such as paclitaxel, vinca alkaloids, and platinum-based agents (excluding oxaliplatin) that may cause chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy; 2) Severe organ dysfunction (end-stage renal disease, severe heart failure) or uncontrolled infections; 3) Local infection, inflammation, or tumor infiltration at the acupuncture site; 4) Current use of antidepressants (e.g., duloxetine), antiepileptics (e.g., gabapentin), or neurotrophic drugs (e.g., mecobalamin); 5) Coagulation disorders ; 6) Use of non-removable electronic devices or metal implants (e.g., pacemakers); 7) Presence of consciousness disorders, psychiatric disorders, or communication impairments that prevent completion of scale assessments; 8) Pregnant or lactating women; 9) Concurrent diabetic peripheral neuropathy, HIV-associated neuropathy, or other severe non-chemotherapy-related neuropathies; 10) Receipt of any form of acupuncture or electroacupuncture within 30 days prior to enrollment.
