Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for Post-Stroke Mild Cognitive Impairment (i.e., Experimental Group and Control Group B): 1) Meet diagnostic criteria for "stroke" and mild cognitive impairment; 2) Cognitive impairment occurs within 1 to 6 months after stroke, demonstrating a clear temporal relationship; 3) MMSE scores: =17 for no formal education, =20 for primary education, =24 for secondary education or above; MoCA score <26; 4) Age between 30 and 70 years; 5) Conscious with stable vital signs; 6) Ability to cooperate with rehabilitation assessments and acupuncture treatment; 7) No participation in other interventional studies within 1 month prior to enrollment. Inclusion Criteria for Post-Stroke Non-Mild Cognitive Impairment (i.e., Control Group A): 1) Meet diagnostic criteria for "stroke"; 2) Within 1 to 6 months after stroke; 3) Absence of cognitive impairment, with MoCA score =26; 4) Age between 30 and 70 years; 5) Conscious with stable vital signs; 6) Ability to cooperate with rehabilitation assessments; 7) No participation in other interventional studies within 1 month prior to enrollment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria (Applicable to Experimental Group, Control Group A, and Control Group B): 1) Cognitive impairment caused by vascular dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, or other neurological disorders; 2) Pre-existing cognitive domain impairment prior to the onset of stroke; 3) History of psychiatric disorders, drug abuse, or alcohol addiction; 4) Pregnancy or lactation; 5) Patients with skin lesions or dermatological conditions at proposed acupuncture sites.
