Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for allergic rhinitis in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine as outlined in the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis (2022 Revised Edition) and Otorhinolaryngology in Traditional Chinese Medicine; (2) Has a history of allergic rhinitis for 3 months or more; (3) Has experienced a high frequency of symptoms such as nasal itching nasal congestion runny nose and sneezing recently (within 1 month) which have a certain impact on daily life; (4) Is aged between 18 and 65 years; (5) Voluntarily participates in this project and signs an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Subjects who have received relevant medication or other therapies within the last 3 months; (2) Subjects with severe primary diseases of the cardiovascular cerebrovascular hepatic or renal systems; (3) Subjects with concurrent pulmonary diseases such as bronchial asthma chronic bronchitis emphysema interstitial lung disease tuberculosis or lung cancer; (4) Subjects with severe immune system disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus or rheumatoid arthritis; (5) Subjects in the acute phase of an infectious disease such as an active cold or influenza; (6) Subjects with severe psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia or major depressive disorder; (7) Subjects with structural nasal abnormalities such as a deviated nasal septum or nasal polyps; (8) Subjects with a history of needle phobia or broken skin at the treatment site; (9) Pregnant lactating or peripartum women.
