Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet the diagnostic criteria for chronic consciousness disorders in both TCM and Western medicine; 2) First-onset condition; 3) Two CRS-R scores of UWS/VS, MCS, or GCS <8 points (speech function scores for tracheotomy patients: 1 point); 4) Disease duration between 29 days to 1 year; 5) Age 18-70 years; 6) Stable vital signs with minimal or no epilepsy risk; 7) Compliance with rehabilitation assessments and acupuncture therapy; 8) Informed consent signed by patient's guardian or authorized representative
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with active cerebral hemorrhage, intracranial infection, closed chest and abdominal injury, multiple fractures, and status epilepticus; 2) Patients with steel nails or plates in the treatment site; 3) Patients with psychiatric history, drug abuse history, and long-term alcohol abuse history; 4) Pregnant or lactating women.
