Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. A current diagnosis of MDD based on DSM-V. 2. 18 to 60 years old. 3. The score of the 24-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-24) is greater than 8 and less than 35. 4. Normal or corrected vision. 5. Psychotropic drug-naïve individuals or psychotropic drug-free-period of at least three months. 6. Voluntarily participating in the research and signing of the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe uncontrolled diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid diseases, etc. 2. Patients with severe visceral diseases or malignant tumors. 3. Patients with bipolar disorder or a history of schizophrenia. 4. Patients with cognitive impairment (Montreal cognitive assessment score 29). 8. Patients currently participating in other clinical studies.
