Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: A total of 40 patients with cerebral microbleeds met the following criteria. The enrolled patients met the following conditions: 1. Age ranging from 50 to 85 years old; 2. Detected cerebral microbleeds = 5 by susceptibility-weighted magnetic resonance imaging; 3. Modified Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score: illiterates = 17 points, primary school students = 20 points, junior high school students = 23 points, and college graduates = 26 points; 4. Signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of consciousness disorders, severe language, comprehension or cognitive functional impairments, and inability to complete intelligence scale examinations; 2. Concurrently suffering from other neurological-related diseases outside of stroke, such as brain trauma, cerebral vascular malformations, brain tumors or brain edema, etc.; 3. Suffering from chronic somatic diseases and undergoing treatment, such as cancer, chronic heart disease, chronic renal failure, severe chronic blood system diseases, etc.; 4. Suffering from mental system-related diseases or having a history of hereditary mental disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder; 5. Patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction.
