Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Osteoarthritis of unilateral knee, contralateral knee clinically normal Age >50 years and <80 years Mild to moderate KOA severity (defined as a total WOMAC score of <48) Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) radiologic evaluation grade 0 to II#. No KOA-related pain management interventions (including medications) within 7 days prior to enrollment. Voluntary enrollment with written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Recent knee interventions (physiotherapy or intra-articular injections for KOA pain within 1 month) Significant comorbidities: -Major systemic diseases (e.g., NYHA Class III/IV heart failure, ESRD, uncontrolled diabetes) -Concurrent chronic pain disorders (e.g., fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain) Communication barriers affecting protocol compliance Positive ballottement test (indicating joint effusion) or Peripatellar skin lesions or infections Current participation in other clinical trials
