Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meeting diagnostic criteria: 1) The patient complains of abnormal sensations such as pain in the occipital and cervical regions, accompanied by corresponding tender points; 2) The results of imaging examinations show cervical degenerative changes; 3) Other neck disorders or diseases causing neck symptoms have been excluded. At the same time, the symptom characteristics of atlanto-occipital fascial contracture are present: such as dizziness and headache, and the above symptoms worsen upon pressing the atlanto-occipital fascia; (2) Age between 30 and 70 years old; (3) No other serious systemic diseases; (4) No medication or other treatments in the past 2 weeks; (5) Signed the informed consent form and is able to participate in the trial regularly according to the research requirements.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with cervical spondylosis of other types (such as vertebral artery type, nerve root type, spinal cord type, sympathetic type); (2) Patients with vertigo caused by ear-origin, brain-origin, or eye-origin diseases; (3) Patients with primary diseases of the heart, liver, kidney, etc., or mental disorders; (4) Pregnant or lactating women; (5) Cases unsuitable for acupuncture or massage treatment procedures; (6) Patients with critical conditions who are unable to independently evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the treatment; (7) Those whose inability to adhere to the established treatment plan affects the progress of the research.
