Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria for chronic fatigue syndrome/Myalgic encephalomyelitis and have a Fatigue Scale-14 score = 7; (2) Aged 18-35 regardless of gender right-handed; (3) No special dietary habits, excluding individuals with digestive system diseases; (4) No prior experience in practicing Tai Chi; (5) Able to answer and complete questionnaires normally with good compliance; (6) No use of psychiatric medications within the past month; (7) No metal implants in the body and no contraindications for MRI; (8) The participant provides informed consent personally and voluntarily signs the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Those with clearly diagnosed organic diseases causing secondary fatigue or secondary fatigue caused by other factors; (2) Those previously diagnosed with mood disorders and various mental disorders such as delusional disorder anorexia nervosa etc.; (3) Those suffering from serious heart kidney lung liver brain and other major diseases with serious liver and kidney function abnormalities; (4) Those who are severely obese with a body mass index = [body weight (kg)/height2 (m)] > 45; (5) Those who have taken vasodilators, laxatives, antibiotics, or gut microbiome regulators in the past two months; (6) Pregnant lactating and menstruating women; (7) Those who cannot understand and cooperate with the examination or have other contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging examination such as claustrophobia; (8) Those who have found severe asymmetry of the cranial anatomy or definite lesions in the magnetic resonance imaging scan; (9) Those who have taken part in a similar neuroimaging test within one month.
