Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1 Meet diagnostic criteria for cognitive impairment related to cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) (2) Meet TCM diagnostic criteria for "dementia" (/) with phlegm-stasis syndrome (3) No communication barriers, able to complete neuropsychological assessments (4) Aged 40–85 years (inclusive), any gender (5) MoCA score <26, or subjective complaint of cognitive decline (6) Voluntary participation confirmed by signed informed consent form from the patient ??or their pre-authorized representative??, with commitment to regular follow-up
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Hereditary cerebral small vessel diseases (e.g., CADASIL, Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy/CAA) (2) Severe underlying diseases (Cardiac/Hepatic/Renal insufficiency) (3) Concomitant vasculitis, intracranial aneurysms, or vascular malformations (4) Conditions interfering with cognitive assessment (Psychiatric disorders, Sensory/Consciousness impairments) (5) Non-CSVD causes of cognitive impairment (Neurodegenerative/Tumoral/Hydrocephalic) (6) History of alcohol or substance abuse (7) Concurrent participation in other clinical trials
