Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)The patient's symptoms align with the Western medical diagnostic criteria for acute bronchitis in children. 2)According to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine the condition in question is classified as a cough resulting from wind-heat invading the lung syndrome. 3)Bronchitis duration = 48 hours. 4)Laboratory tests: Complete blood count: Total white blood cell count = 12 × 109/L and neutrophil percentage = 70% C-reactive protein = 12 mg/L 5)Complete rapid direct antigen testing or nucleic acid testing for viral pathogens using nasal/pharyngeal swabs. 6)Age: 1 to 14 years old. 7)Informed consent and voluntary participation are fundamental principles in this context. The process of obtaining informed consent is subject to the regulations outlined in the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Children aged eight years or older are required to sign the informed consent form in conjunction with their legal guardian.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Suffering from acute infectious diseases such as measles and whooping cough 2)Combined severe underlying diseases of the heart, liver, kidneys, digestive system, hematopoietic system, immune system and connective tissue system etc. 3)Cough caused by other conditions (such as bronchial foreign bodies, cough-variant asthma, allergic cough, etc.) 4)Allergic to drugs included in the treatment regimen;
