Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria of simple wasting: excluding common secondary causes of wasting such as malignant tumors tuberculosis diabetes and hyperthyroidism and body mass index (BMI) < 18.5kg/m2. 2. aged from 18 to 60 years old. 3.signed informed consent. 4.The constitution was determined by the Constitution Classification and Determination of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CCMQ) issued by the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine in March 2009. According to the CCMQ the patients were judged as deficiency constitution (including qi deficiency constitution Yang deficiency constitution and Yin deficiency constitution) or mild constitution.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Those with mental disorders and severe communication disorders who are unable to complete the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Scale" and the testing process. 2) Pregnant or lactating women. 3) Weight-loss drugs that are prone to cause diarrhea during the acute attack period of gastroenteritis. 4) The patient had taken antibiotics or probiotics and other drugs that affect the intestinal flora in the three months prior to specimen collection.
