Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 18 and = 65 years old, gender not limited (2) The diagnostic criteria for chronic insomnia in ICSD-3 (3) According to the traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis of insomnia, the syndrome differentiation belongs to the liver fire disturbing the heart type (4) Stable use of sedatives and hypnotic drugs for more than 3 months before entering this study, or no medication taken at all (5) Insomnia Severity Index ISI score>14 and<22 (6) Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosed as a patient with mental illness according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (2) Patients with severe anxiety and depression (3) Serious primary diseases of organs, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, and the blood system (4) Infection, scar or tumor at the acupuncture site (5) Acupuncture allergy sufferers (6) Pregnancy and lactation period (7) Patients who abuse alcohol or any other drugs
