Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet the diagnostic criteria of PCOS and obesity in Western medicine; 2) Meet the diagnostic criteria of spleen deficiency and phlegm-dampness syndrome of PCOS in Chinese medicine; 3) Age 18-40 years old females; 4) Have not applied contraceptives or other drugs affecting sex hormones in the recent past; 5) Those who have not taken part in other ongoing clinical trials; 6) The patients gave their informed consent and voluntarily participated in the study by signing an informed consent form which was approved by the hospital's Medical Ethics Committee. (Note: Only those who meet the above 6 items at the same time can be included in this study.)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Organic lesions of the reproductive system including but not limited to ovarian tumors pituitary adenomas endometrial tuberculosis etc.; 2) Patients with severe organic diseases such as cardiac hepatic renal insufficiency hematologic diseases or malignant tumors etc.; 3) Abnormalities of the endocrine metabolism including congenital adrenal hyperplasia Cushing's syndrome premature ovarian failure central amenorrhea and thyroid dysfunction etc.; 4) Prior to the study patients with a history of using lipid regulating drugs and glucose-lowering drugs within 3 months. 3 months before the start of the study; 5) People with serious mental disorders such as schizophrenia dementia and other cognitive dysfunction; 6) Women in the stage of pregnancy or breastfeeding; 7) People with contraindications or intolerance to acupuncture treatment; 8) People with metal implantation in the body (pacemakers steel nails surgery and women who have been on the metal contraceptive ring etc.); (Note: Any patient who complies with any of the above items shall be excluded). (Note: patients who meet any of the above 1 will be excluded.)
