Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Meeting the diagnostic criteria for metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) 2 Aged 18–65 years voluntarily provided written informed consent and able to cooperate with: (1)Collection of general demographic data (2)Completion of standardized questionnaires (3)Accurate documentation of symptom profiles (4)Provision of complete and reliable medical records
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1)Patients with severe heart lung liver or kidney failure or advanced-stage malignancies (2)Alcohol-related fatty liver disease or mixed-type fatty liver disease (3)Acute hepatitis severe hepatitis decompensated cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (4)Patients with specific diseases that may cause fatty liver including: Viral hepatitis Drug-induced liver injury Total parenteral nutrition (TPN)-associated steatosis Wilsons disease Autoimmune liver diseases Pregnant or lactating women those planning pregnancy in the near future individuals using estrogen-based contraceptives or patients with psychiatric disorders
