Treatment group:On the basis of basic treatment the affected upper limb is treated with acupressure at the meridian node
control group:On the basis of basic treatment conventional acupuncture is used on the affected upper limb

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: diagnostic criteria (1) The diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese medicine refer to the diagnostic and therapeutic standards for "stroke disease" in the "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Efficacy Standards for Traditional Chinese Medicine Internal Diseases" formulated by the Brain Disease Emergency Cooperation Group of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2017 as well as stroke patients with shoulder obstruction. ([1] Diagnostic Basis Syndrome Classification and Therapeutic Effect Evaluation of Stroke - Chinese Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Standard "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Effect Standards for Internal Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine" (ZY/T001.1-94) [J]. Journal of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016 18 (10): 16.) (2) The diagnostic criteria of Western medicine refer to the "2019 Diagnostic Key Points for Major Types of Cerebrovascular Diseases in China" formulated by the Neurology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association for stroke patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain and restricted mobility. ([2] Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association Cerebrovascular Disease Group of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association. Diagnostic Key Points of Various Major Cerebrovascular Diseases in China 2019 [J]. Chinese Journal of Neurology 2019 52 (9): 710-715.) Inclusion criteria: (1) met the above diagnostic criteria of TCM and western medicine; (2) aged =80 years; (3) the course of stroke between 2 weeks and 1 year; (4) spontaneous shoulder pain on the affected side appeared during the course of stroke or pain and discomfort appeared in the process of active passive shoulder movement and refused to move; (5) shoulder pain score =4 points; (6) patients were willing to participate in this experiment and signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) History of shoulder pain caused by other reasons such as periarthritis of shoulder rotator cuff injury fracture etc.; () Comorbid with severe cognitive impairment visual or hearing impairment and unable to cooperate with the treatment or unable to complete the relevant scale assessment; (3) History of severe phobia; (4) Infection ulcer scar at the acupuncture site; (5) Comorbid with severe coagulation dysfunction.
