Interventions
Control group:The patient was initially seated with the back exposed, disinfection using 75% alcohol cotton balls. Using 0.25×40mm acupuncture needles, BL23 is needled horizontally downward in 1 cun
CV4 and SP6 were needled 1 cun
KI3 was needled 0.3-0.5 cun. All acupoints are rapidly needled using lifting-thrusting and rotating manipulation techniques, applying neutral supplementation and drainage method until deqi sensation
Treatment group:Disposable sterile acupuncture needles (0.25 × 40 mm Huatuo brand) were used. Patient lies down on a prone position with back exposed disinfection will performed using 75% alcohol cott
HT6 and KI5 are needled to the depth of 0.3-0.5 cun. All acupoints are rapidly needled, then applying neutral supplementation and drainage method until deqi sensation was achieved.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the Western diagnostic criteria for menopausal hot flashes. (2) Meet the Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic criteria for kidney yin deficiency-type menopausal hot flashes. (3) Female aged =40 and =55 years. (4) Experience =3 episodes of hot flashes with sweating per day. (5) Voluntarily participate in the study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1)Patients with gynecological tumor-related diseases (e.g. endometrial cancer breast cancer etc.) acute gynecological infections (e.g. acute vaginitis acute pelvic inflammatory disease) other infectious diseases high-risk factors for thrombotic diseases or unexplained vaginal bleeding. (2)Pregnant or lactating women. (3)Patients who have undergone bilateral oophorectomy have ovarian tumors or suffer from premature ovarian failure. (4)Patients with severe primary diseases of the heart liver brain kidneys or hematopoietic system. (5)Patients with impaired consciousness or severe anxiety/depression. (6)Patients who have used any hormonal medications within 1 month before treatment or during the study period. (7)Patients currently participating or having participated in other clinical trials within the past 1 month.
