7 Years to 12 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age of the patient: between 7 and 12 years; (2) Postoperative diagnosis indicates uncomplicated acute appendicitis with analgesia administered solely via ibuprofen suppository; (3) The child demonstrates proficient verbal communication skills; (4) Both the child and their guardian have been adequately informed and have provided consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with significant impairments in cardiac cerebral or renal function or those diagnosed with malignant tumors; (2) Pediatric patients with a history of abdominal surgery; (3) Individuals exhibiting pronounced ear deformities trauma hemorrhage severe frostbite ulcers or vesicular lesions on the ear and surrounding skin; (4) Other postoperative procedural pain associated with interventions such as intravenous catheterization and intradermal injections.
