postoperative nausea and vomiting

Interventions

Short duration group:Electrical stimulation of acupoints (PC6) was performed for half an hour at the beginning of the operation and upon awakening on the second and third postoperative days.
Long duration group:Electrical stimulation of acupuncture point (PC6) was continued at the beginning of the operation until 48 hours after the operation.

18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (i) Elective surgery of the thoracic or lumbar spine; (ii) American society of Aneshesiologists (ASA) physical status was ? to ?; (iii) those who agreed to participate in this study and signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Age 70 years old; 2) patients who have not taken drugs that cause nausea and vomiting before the operation; 3) pregnant women lactating women; 4) combined with severe respiratory disease or liver and kidney disease; 5) previous history of postoperative nausea and vomiting; 6) history of motion sickness; 7) body mass index greater than 30kg/m2 8) the presence of mental illness or inability to communica.
