Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) It meets the diagnostic criteria for generalized anxiety disorder in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine; (2) Age between 20 and 60 years old gender not limited; (3) The score of the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) is between 5 and 14 points and the score of the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) is =14 points and =29 points. (4) Normal vision and hearing capable of cooperating with the filling of relevant scales and examinations; (5) Those who voluntarily participate in this clinical study sign the informed consent form and are able to persist in acupuncture treatment. Note: Only patients who meet all the above five conditions simultaneously can be included in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Pregnant women and lactating patients; (2) Those diagnosed with other severe mental disorders accompanied by anxiety such as depression bipolar disorder schizophrenia etc; (3) Those with intellectual disabilities or difficulty in understanding the content of the questionnaire; (4) Those with severe liver and kidney function abnormalities tumors hematopoietic system diseases and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; (5) Those who cannot tolerate acupuncture treatment; (6) Those with skin damage at the treatment site; (7) Those who have received acupuncture treatment taken psychotropic drugs and antidepressants or anti-anxiety drugs within 30 days or whose elution period has not exceeded 30 days.
