Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnostic Criteria The diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) was established according to the "2021 Osteoarthritis Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines" developed by the Orthopedics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. The diagnostic criteria included: 1)Recurrent knee pain within the past month; 2)Age = 50 years; 3)Morning stiffness lasting = 30 minutes; 4)Presence of bone crepitus (or sensation) during activity; 5)Radiographic evidence (standing or weight-bearing X-ray) of narrowed joint space subchondral bone sclerosis and/or cystic changes and osteophyte formation at the joint margins. A diagnosis of KOA was confirmed if the patient met criterion 1) along with any two of criteria 2) 3) 4) and 5). Inclusion Criteria Patients were included in the study if they: Met the diagnostic criteria for KOA as per the "2021 Osteoarthritis Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines"; Were scheduled to undergo Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment; Were aged = 18 years; Voluntarily participated in the study and provided written inf

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from the study if they met any of the following criteria: Presence of psychiatric disorders; Hearing visual or behavioral impairments that could interfere with the study procedures; Severe medical conditions that might affect participation; Inability to complete the survey or intervention due to other reasons.
