Lumbar Disc Herniation

Interventions
Experimental Group 1:Basic Duhuo Jisheng Decoction only, administered twice daily at a standard dosage for 12 weeks.
Control group:receive standard nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and physical therapy for 12 weeks.
Experimental Group 2:Based on the Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang basic formula medications will be individualized according to the patients syndrome differentiation. For example for cold-damp type Fu Zi and Gan
for qi stagnation and blood stasis type Dan Shen and Tao Ren will be added
for kidney deficiency type Du Zhong and Xu Duan will be added. Administered twice daily for 12 weeks.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Age 18-65 years 2)Radiological diagnosis of lumbar disc herniation (MRI or CT) 3)VAS score = 4 4)Signed informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Pregnant or breastfeeding women 2)Patients with severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases 3)Recently received other treatments for lumbar disc herniation 4)Individuals allergic to the study medication
