18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for chronic insomnia. (2) Age between 18 and 60 years regardless of gender. (3) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for mood disorders with HAMA score > 7 or HAMD score > 8. (4) No communication disorders. (5) The subject signs or has their immediate family member sign an informed consent form voluntarily participating in the study. Note: Only those who meet all five of the above criteria can be included in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Those who do not meet the diagnostic criteria. (2) Secondary insomnia caused by other physical diseases or sleep disturbances due to environmental or other external factors; other types of sleep disorders are not excluded. (3) Patients with progressive malignant tumors or other serious wasting diseases those prone to infections or bleeding or those with serious primary diseases such as cardiovascular liver kidney digestive or hematologic system diseases. (4) Patients with impaired consciousness who cannot express subjective symptoms of discomfort or those with mental illness. (5) Patients who have received acupuncture treatment for insomnia in the past two months prior to enrollment. (6) Women who are breastfeeding or pregnant and those who are prone to fainting from acupuncture. Note: Any subjects who meet any of the above criteria should be excluded from the study.
