Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1: Meet the diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation formulated by Professor Hu Yougu and clearly diagnose the case as lumbar disc herniation. 2: Patients between the ages of 20-65 years old who are not in the acute exacerbation phase. 3: Patients who have not been treated with any medication (including oral anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs proprietary Chinese medicines and external plasters creams etc.) in the last 2 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1: Solid heat syndrome yin deficiency and fever 2: Previous open surgical treatment of the lumbar spine including percutaneous puncture lumbar spine herniated disc surgery peritoneal posterior or anterior lumbar spine herniated disc surgery to remove the history the history of internal fixation of the lumbar spine etc. 3: Patients with serious medical diseases including serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases serious liver and kidney diseases hematopoietic system diseases genitourinary system diseases serious skin diseases endocrine system diseases acute and chronic infectious diseases and psychiatric patients. 4: Patients with lumbar spine fracture lumbar spine tuberculosis lumbar spine third-degree slippage lumbar spine or cauda equina tumor. 5: Lumbar spondylolisthesis caused by various kinds of traumas with skin breakage. 6: Pregnant or lactating women 7: Patients with huge lumbar disc herniation or even prolapse which compresses the cauda equina nerve and leads to serious neurological disorders and have surgical indications. 8: Patients with lumbar disc herniation without any clinical symptoms patients with lumbar and leg pain not caused by disc herniation and patients who are unable to judge the efficacy of the treatment.
