Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age > 18; 2) Primary diagnosis of chronic glomerulonephritis and at CKD stages 4-5 (non-dialysis phase): Refers to the stage where the condition is temporarily stable controllable with medication but requires close monitoring; 3) TCM syndrome differentiation of kidney deficiency blood stasis and turbid toxin syndrome; 4) 24-hour urinary protein quantification < 2.0 g; 5) Patients receiving traditional Chinese medicine granule treatment; 6) No cognitive or mental abnormalities capable of cooperation; 7) Willing to participate in this study and having signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Diagnosed with CKD stages 1–3 or already undergoing renal replacement therapy; 2) Active gastrointestinal diseases or post-gastrointestinal surgery; 3) Patients with severe primary diseases involving the heart brain lungs liver hematopoietic system etc.; 4) Patients with acute infectious diseases malignant tumors active or persistent chronic hepatitis B decompensated liver cirrhosis severe primary diseases of the hematopoietic system post-kidney transplantation active tuberculosis or psychiatric disorders severe electrolyte imbalances or those exhibiting acute kidney injury; 5) Unstable vital signs with indications for emergency dialysis; 6) TCM syndrome differentiation not consistent with kidney deficiency blood stasis and turbid toxin syndrome; 7) Currently using or having received corticosteroids immunosuppressants or antibiotics for more than one week within the past 3 months; 8) 24-hour urinary protein quantification = 2.0 g; 9) Patients with secondary kidney disease; 10) Currently participating in other drug-related clinical trials.
