Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the Western medical diagnostic criteria for obesity; (2) Be diagnosed with the pattern of liver qi stagnation and spleen deficiency according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM); (3) Be aged =18 and =70 years with no gender restrictions; (4) The participant understands agrees to participate in this study and voluntarily signs the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary obesity caused by various reasons such as Cushing's syndrome hypothyroidism hypogonadism hypothalamic disorders or obesity induced by medications; (2) Patients with diabetes or those who have received antidiabetic drug treatment; (3) Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol =4.9 mmol/L or triglycerides =5.6 mmol/L; (4) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; (5) Patients with severe chronic diseases such as serious metabolic disorders cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases tumors or hepatic and renal insufficiency; (6) Patients with mental disorders; (7) Patients who have received traditional Chinese or Western medical treatment for obesity within the past month; (8) Individuals allergic to components of traditional Chinese medicine.
