Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 3-16 years with uncomplicated appendicitis and no other diseases; abdominal ultrasound shows an enlarged appendix with a diameter >6mm a wall thickness >0.1cm or fecaliths or pus formation in the appendiceal lumen; for bowel preparation the osmotic laxative chosen is PEG4000; the family and patient refuse surgical intervention and agree to undergo ERAT willing to cooperate with bowel preparation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Contraindications for colonoscopy or hypersensitivity to contrast agents; patients with perforated appendix diffuse peritonitis or periappendiceal abscess; cases where ultrasound shows free gas in the abdomen or acute abdominal conditions caused by urological or gynecological issues; family members who refuse endoscopic treatment or fail to cooperate.
