Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 18 years old;2. Patients experiencing their first - ever stroke;3. Time of stroke symptom onset < 48 hours;4. National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score above 3 points and pre - modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score between 0 and 2 points;5. MRI - confirmed acute cerebral infarction in the territory supplied by the middle cerebral artery on one side (high signal on DWI images and low signal on ADC images);6. Non - contrast computed tomography (NCCT) of the head confirms no intracranial hemorrhage;7. Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the "informed consent form."

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete imaging examinations before and after treatment or images of insufficient quality for diagnosis or accurate measurement;2. Individuals with a history of brain trauma or brain surgery;3. Having other related conditions such as tumors congenital structural abnormalities neuropsychiatric diseases chronic infections and inflammation head injuries and a history of epilepsy;4. Incomplete clinical information or being lost to follow - up.
