18 Years to 95 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 18 years old; (2) Planed ICU stay = 7 days; (3) Being incontinent fo urine and stool; (4) With clinical signs of IAD (incontinence-associated dermatitis and its severity IADS); (5) Written informed consent (signed by the participant or a legal representative).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who are pregnant breastfeeding or menstruating; (2) Patients with severe conditions such as hemodynamic instability; (3) Patients with edema burns stomas skin breaks scars infections or other skin diseases at the fomentation site or the area affected by IAD; (4) Patients currently using fecal collection devices (such as fecal drainage devices); (5) Patients who show allergic reactions to the Chinese herbal fomentation pack skin cleansing products or skin protection products; (6) For conscious patients those with severe diabetes paraplegia hemiplegia or other sensory neuropathies are excluded; (7) Patients who are currently participating in other research studies.
