Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and Western medicine for idiopathic facial nerve paralysis; 2) Aged between 16 and 70 years old; 3) Patients can express their wishes independently, have at least elementary school education, and have good reading and comprehension skills; 4) Have stable vital signs, no critical illness, and can cooperate with treatment; 5) Patients voluntarily participate in the study, agree and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Facial paralysis secondary to other diseases such as otitis media, trauma, Lyme disease, parotid disease, cerebrovascular disease, and central facial paralysis; 2) Patients with severe primary diseases such as kidney, liver, endocrine system, and hematopoietic system; 3) Patients with impaired consciousness or obvious intellectual impairment and aphasia; 4) Patients with contraindications to acupuncture, such as hemophilia and other coagulation disorders, who cannot tolerate acupuncture; 5) Women who are breastfeeding, pregnant, or preparing for pregnancy; 6) Those who are undergoing other clinical trials in addition to this subject.
