Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine for generalized anxiety disorder; (2) meet the diagnostic criteria of TCM depression syndrome; (3) Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA)=14 points but <29 points; (See Schedule 1) (4) It meets the diagnostic criteria of TCM symptoms: liver depression and fire syndrome heart-gallbladder qi deficiency syndrome; (See Schedule 2) (5) Aged between 18 and 70 years old; (6) Have not taken anti-anxiety medication within 4 weeks; (7) Patients voluntarily participated in the study and signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Exclude anxiety secondary to physical diseases such as hyperthyroidism hypertension and coronary heart disease; (2) Withdrawal reactions due to overdosage of stimulants and withdrawal of anti-anxiety drugs for less than four weeks hypnotic sedation drugs and anti-anxiety drugs were excluded; (3) Excluding anxiety associated with other mental disorders such as panic disorder obsessive-compulsive disorder phobia hypochondria neurasthenia mania depression schizophrenia etc.; (4) Exclusion of breastfeeding and pregnant women; (5) Exclude those with unstable vital signs; (6) Exclude persons with unconsciousness aphasia and cognitive impairment. Those who meet one of these criteria will be excluded.
