Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis (KOA) according to both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine; 2. Age between 40 and 70 years old with pain in the left knee and right-hand dominance; 3. Kellgren-Lawrence radiological grade of I-II; 4. Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score greater than 3 with a disease duration of no less than 3 months; 5. Have not received other treatments in the past 4 weeks; 6. Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with a history of trauma or surgery on the knee; 2. Individuals with tumors tuberculosis osteomyelitis or other diseases affecting the knee; 3. Individuals with severe liver or kidney dysfunction severe cardiovascular diseases diabetes or mental illnesses that may affect massage therapy; 4. Individuals with body pain caused by other diseases; 5. Individuals with a history of drug allergies; 6. Individuals with MRI contraindications such as claustrophobia pacemakers defibrillators heart stents intrauterine devices etc.; 7. Individuals with skin lesions around the knee joint.
