Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for subacute non-specific low back pain as outlined in the "Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines for Non-Specific Low Back Pain in China (2022)"; 2) Disease duration of 4-12 weeks; 3) Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score > 40 (on a scale of 0-100); 4) Age between 18 and 55 years right-handed; 5) Agrees to sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant or lactating women; 2) Individuals with psychiatric or neurological disorders who are unable to communicate normally; 3) Those with local skin damage that affects the manual operation of acupuncture; 4) Individuals with contraindications for magnetic resonance imaging such as claustrophobia.
