Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-II New York Heart Association (NYHA) grade I single pregnancy 37-42 weeks voluntary request for acupuncture anesthesia for labor analgesia during the active period of the first stage of labor without cardiovascular disease mental illness deformities etc.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria include induction of labor contraindications to acupuncture anesthesia or epidural anesthesia and a requirement for NRS = 4 during labor analgesia.
