Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: i. patient should meet the diagnostic criteria in "Clinical Guideline of Adult hypothyroidism (2017ed.)"; ii. patient should meet the diagnostic criteria of hypothyroidism with Spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency in "Guiding Principles of Clinical Study on New Drugs of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2002 ed.)"; iii. patient should not have taken any antidepression medication within the last 4 weeks; iv. patient should participate in this study voluntarily, and sign an informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients will be excluded from the study if they meet any of the following criteria: i. patient refuses to give informed consent ii. Severe systemic disease including cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, liver, kidney,and blood system diseases; iii. Severe diabetes; iv. Patient in pregnancy, lactation, or in preparation of pregnancy; v. Patient cannot comply with the treatment; vi. Patient difficult to communicate with due to psychological condition or dysphasia. vii. Patient plans to move or travel in the near future.
