BRF:Bantaoridsidwangtawan, 5 pills/meals, before meals 3 times daily, Bantaoridsidwangtawan formula
MPFF:Daflon, 2 tablets before meals 3 times a day for 4 days and then 2 tablets before meals 2 times a day for 6 days, micronized purified flavonoid fraction

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male or female patients aged 19 to 70 years with symptomatic first- or second-degree internal hemorrhoids were eligible. First- and second-degree hemorrhoids were diagnosed by a proctoscope. Patients symptoms included rectal bleeding, prolapse, and pain.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy, breastfeeding, disabilities, active cancer treatment, active proctitis, chronic liver disease, renal failure, history of herbal allergy, and concurrent use of certain medicine (fibrinolytics, anticoagulants, and antiplatelet drugs)
