Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation; 2. CT or MRI showed only one lesion segment: L4-5 protruded; 3. Middle aged people aged 40-55; 4. Non acute phase with onset duration = 2 weeks; 5. Palpation findings: the spinous process of the affected vertebrae deviates to the left or right, the space between the upper and lower spines of the affected vertebrae is not equal in width, the tenderness beside the spinous process of the affected vertebrae is accompanied by radiation pain of the lower limbs, and the contact of the supraspinous ligament of the affected vertebrae is blunt and thick; 6. The physical examination showed that the lower lumbar curvature, sacral inclination, pelvic level, and other changes in lumbosacral mechanical imbalance; 7. X-ray examination of lumbar spine in standing position and MR examination in supine position were completed before and after treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with lumbar disc herniation and lumbar spinal stenosis; 2. Patients with multiple segmental lumbar disc herniation; 3. Acute stage patients with obvious nerve root pain or difficulty in walking within 2 weeks after onset; 4. Patients with common peroneal nerve paralysis such as foot drop, or cauda equina nerve injury such as urinary and fecal disorders and numbness in sella region; 5. Patients with spondylolisthesis, ankylosing spondylitis, metabolic bone disease, osteoporosis, tumor, tuberculosis, fracture, infection and other factors that affect the shape of the spine.
