Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria (refer to the diagnostic criteria of the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis (2018 Edition) issued by the branch of orthopaedics of the Chinese Medical Association). ? Repeated knee pain in the past month; ? X-ray films (standing position or weight-bearing position) showed narrowing of joint space, subchondral bone sclerosis and / or cystic change, and osteophyte formation at the joint edge; ? Age = 50 years old; ? Morning stiffness time = 30min; ? There is bone fricative sound (sensation) during activity. It can be diagnosed if any 2 of ? and ? ? ? ? are met.); (2) Age 30 and above; (3) Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) = 48 points; (4) Kellgren Lawrence (K-L) is classified as grade I, II or III; (5) Fluent in speech, clear in mind, can accurately evaluate and describe their own discomfort symptoms; (6) Sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) The patient had a history of knee replacement; (2) The patient had a history of rheumatoid arthritis and bone tumor; (3) The patient has ligament injury or rupture; (4) Previous allergic history of Chinese herbal medicine (5) anti inflammatory and analgesic drugs were used within 1 week before enrollment; (6) The local knee joint was treated with topical drugs within 1 week before enrollment (7) the knee joint was treated with drug injection within 1 month before enrollment.
