Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Acupuncture group 1) Comply with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) TS diagnostic criteria; 2) No other central nervous system diseases and serious physical diseases; 3) Has not used any Chinese and Western medicine for tic disorders in the past six months; 4) 8 years = age = 12 years, no gender limitation; 5) Wechsler children's intelligence test assessed IQ =85 points; 6) Right-handedness as assessed by The Chinese Handedness Scale; 7) 13 points < YGTSS=50 points; 8) Informed consent of children and guardians.(2)Minimal acupuncture group: the inclusion criteria are same as the acupuncture group. (3) Healthy control group 1) No tic disorder; 2) No neurological disorders, mental disorders and serious physical disorders; 3) 8 years = age = 12 years, no gender limitation; 4) Age (±1 year old), gender and education level were matched with acupuncture group; 5) According to the Chinese Handedness scale, it is suitable for right-handedness; 6) Wechsler children's intelligence test assessed IQ =85 points; 7)The volunteers and their guardians agreed to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Acupuncture group 1) Have a history of obvious head trauma; 2) Other mental disorders except tic disorder in DSM-IV-TR axis I disorder; 3) Children with severe head convulsions affecting the mri results; 4) Patients with poor compliance or contraindications for functional magnetic resonance examination. (2) Minimal acupuncture group: the exclusion criteria are same as the acupuncture group. (3) Healthy control group 1) Have a history of obvious head trauma; 2) Patients with poor compliance or contraindications for functional magnetic resonance examination.
