Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. It conforms to the western medicine diagnosis of hypertension in the elderly and the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity; 2. Age <= 65 years old and <= 85 years old, regardless of gender; 3. The anxiety self-rating Scale (SAS) was assessed as mild or moderate anxiety (50-69 points); 4. Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) was assessed as likely to have anxiety, definitely to have anxiety or definitely to have obvious anxiety (scoring 7 ~ 28 points); 5. Did not use anti-anxiety and depression drugs 2 weeks before enrollment; 6. Understand and agree to participate in this study and sign the informed consent (if necessary, give the informed consent to the legal guardian and ask him to sign the informed consent).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary hypertension and malignant hypertension; 2. Anxiety disorders caused by thyroid disease, cervical spondylosis and other diseases; 3. Patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction, high atrioventricular block, acute heart failure, myocardial infarction, acute cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, diabetic ketoacidosis and malignant tumor; 4. Those with language and cognitive impairment who fail to cooperate and are diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease (AD) vascular dementia (VD); 5. Allergic to amlodipine besylate tablets and Traditional Chinese medicine.
