20 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Persistent or intermittent non-painful sensation of a lump or foreign body in the throat with no structural lesion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Dysphagia or odynophagia; 2. Pharyngeal, laryngeal, and esophageal structural lesions; 3. Esophageal mucosal abnormalities (gastric inlet patch); 4. Evidence of GERD or eosinophilic esophagitis; 5. Major esophageal motor disorders (distal esophageal spasm, esophagogastric junction outflow obstruction, achalasia, jackjammer esophagus, and absent contractility); 6.Fever (BT>38.3C) or upper respiratory infection in recent 2 weeks.
