Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. 6-24 months of age, either sex 2. Ingesting weaning foods in addition to breast milk 3. Free from major illness (including malaria) 4. Afebrile 5. Haemoglobin =70 g/l 6. Parental consent obtained
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with symptomatic malaria 2. Children with severe anaemia (Haemoglobin <70 g/l)
